Trying to live photography without constraints as form of meaning creation
adjacent.future. is a photographic project of mine influenced by movies like Lost In Translation, Blade Runner, and In The Mood For Love, or anime like Your Name and Evangelion, which are permeated with vaporwave, cyberpunk, sci-fi, and outrun aesthetics. The project was abruptly interrupted in 2020 because of the pandemic.
My vision is to live photography without constraints. Everything in this world is fragmented and to embrace its own messy coherence at its fullest I believe we need to look at reality through multiple lenses, and colors.
Due to the impossibility of to travel in Japan, the pandemic gave me the chance to explore black and white photography. The advantage of shooting black and white is that you don't have to think a lot about colors and lights: it is a very minimal form of photography.
